Zandspruit Estate

Who doesn't dream of... "going on safari in their own backyard"

In addition to the section where the homes are located, Zandspruit Estate consists of "the Wilderness". 650 hectares of nature reserve that remains untouched (except for necessary maintenance of the sandy paths and the natural environment). In this section, nature takes its course: plants grow and bloom, animals roam freely, and birds build their nests; a paradise, and accessible only to homeowners and you as tenants.

The animals at Zandspruit are wild, but there are no Big 5. So walking, jogging, and cycling are certainly possible.

Head into the wilderness for a sundowner and enjoy the giraffes and zebras that just pop around the corner.

Relax on the terrace where the animals walk by and drink from the well.

There is so much to experience in and around Villa Appelblaar. Our villa is situated on the safe Zandspruit Estate, just a stone's throw from the charming center of Hoedspruit. Here you will find numerous atmospheric restaurants, outdoor cafes, and lovely shops.

Moreover, Villa Appelblaar is the perfect base for unforgettable day trips: both the world-famous Kruger National Park (via the Orpen Gate) and the breathtaking Panorama Route are quickly and easily accessible from Hoedspruit.

Hoedspruit

Hoedspruit is about a 5-minute drive from Zandspruit Estate. You will find plenty of nice restaurants and shops there.

If you wish to cook your own meals in the villa, you will find everything you need in the supermarkets.
